State Required Testing Just Around the Corner

Students in Frankfort Independent Schools will be completing many different types of assessment, some state required and others for college credit. Here are the state required assessments that will be given during the last 10 days of school.

  • KPREP (grades 3 through 8 in mathematics, reading, on-demand writing, science, and social studies)
  • End of Course Assessment for high school students earning credit in Algebra II, Biology, English II, and US History
  • Compass provided to Seniors that have not yet met benchmarks for college readiness.
  • ACT given to all students in the Junior class (last month)

Please get your rest, eat a good breakfast, and come motivated to do your best as you finish the school year!

Netbook Return Process

Students that have been using the district's netbooks this year will be turning them in for the summer. Netbooks will be inspected, inventoried, and updated so that they will be ready to go once school starts in August. Students will be issued the same netbook that they used this year. If students return a netbook with damage or has lost their device, then they will be assessed a fee. If you have questions, please do not hestitate to contact our office. Stacy Riddle is the contact at 502-875-8655.
