First and foremost, I want to express my genuine enthusiasm about joining Frankfort High School and the long-standing tradition.  When I visited on Monday, the passion for those traditions and the goal for academic success for all students was very apparent.  Active engagement from the students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members who I met was apparent.  After my interview with the committee, it was apparent that my values and FHS's values aligned. I knew this was a place where I could contribute and grow as an educator.  I believe that education has the power to transform lives, and I am truly excited to be part of not only Frankfort High School but FIS which shares this belief wholeheartedly.

Respect is a fundamental value that I hold dear, and I am convinced it plays an essential role in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.  I firmly believe that every student, staff member, and member of our community deserves to be treated with dignity and empathy.  By fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect, we can build strong relationships and empower our students to reach their full potential.

A positive attitude is contagious, and it can have a profound impact on the overall atmosphere of a school.  I am a firm believer in the power of positivity and its ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues.  I strive to be an optimistic presence in the lives of those around me, always seeking to find the silver lining in every situation.  Together, we can create a supportive and uplifting environment that encourages growth, resilience, and a love for learning.

Lastly, academic excellence lies at the heart of my core values.  I am committed to providing our students with a rigorous and engaging educational experience that prepares them for future success.  By fostering critical thinking skills, promoting intellectual curiosity, and cultivating a love for lifelong learning, we can empower our students to become confident, well-rounded individuals ready to tackle the challenges of the ever-changing world.  I am excited about learning the Summit Learning platform FHS utilizes and strengthen that engagement for students.
