Human Resources and Employee Information Center

Welcome to the Frankfort Independent Schools (FIS) Human Resources Department. This department handles the employment needs for more than 160 employees in addition to the average 250 applicants who seek employment at FIS each year.

Important Notice:

We are always striving to improve our districts processes and become more efficient.  To that end, we will be implementing a new electronic time sheet system on January 1, 2019.  To prepare for the launch of this new system there will be a mandatory training for supervisors on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 8:30 to 9:15, at the central office.

FMLA:

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides certain employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year. It also requires that their group health benefits be maintained during the leave.
