Start door decorating for the contest. This is optional but we will be choosing the top three classrooms for a reward on Friday. Anti-Bully Wednesday

Wednesday, March 4th:
This is Pledge Day. Mrs. Hardin and I have ordered large banners to hang in the cafeteria. We have one for middle school and one for elementary students. Mrs. Hardin and I will both be up there for all lunches to assist with signing and handing out bracelets. Teachers will need to bring the students a couple of minutes early to lunch on this day to sign their name on the pledge banner. Once they have signed, we will hand them a bracelet that reads, "BAND AGAINST BULLYING". When they go thru the lunch line this bracelet will get them a free ice cream. On this day it will also be a dress up day. This day will be HERO Day (Help Encourage Respect Others).

Superintendent Screening Committee

Parent needed on the Frankfort Independent Schools Superintendent Screening Committee

The Frankfort Independent Board of Education is currently conducting a search for a new superintendent. The regulation requires that the Board have a screening committee. One of the members of that committee must be a parent. If you are interested in serving on this committee or if you would like to nominate another parent, contact Carrie Williams, carrie.williams@frankfort.kyschools.us.  In this nomination please include name, phone number and if possible why you would like to serve on this committee. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, March 4th by the end of the school day. The PTO presidents of the school district will elect the parent representative to the screening committee.  Please note that this will be a major time commitment for those involved.
